FAQs
How do the fees work?
No additional subscription required—your Bustle Online Menu is already part of your plan! You’ll only incur a fee when customers make an order. Transactions under $20 have a 2.9% + 30¢ fee, while transactions over $20 have a flat 4.9% fee. When you win, we win.
I'm busy, how long does it take to set up?
If you'd like Bustle Online but are short on time, we’re happy to set it up for you (free of charge!) to save you the hassle.
Or, if you prefer, you can set it up yourself in about an hour. Need a hand? Book a chat with Gemma or Claire.
What can I control?
So much control! Choose exactly which items appear on your online menu and easily remove them whenever needed. Manage pickup times, intervals, opening hours, promotions, alerts, and pop-ups. Customise colors, images, branding, modifiers, Table Ordering, TablePay, and Bill Splitting. That’s a lot of flexibility!

What is the Bustle Bill Splitting Experience?
With TablePay enabled, customers can place orders from their table and even split the bill right there through Bustle! This reduces queues at the till and eliminates those tricky large-group bill-splitting situations, allowing your staff to focus more on service and sales.

What kind of patrons like online ordering?
Since COVID, people have become much more comfortable with online ordering, and we’re seeing more venues leverage this shift to boost their revenue. Many traditional cafes and restaurants are now seeing up to 30% of their income come from Bustle Online Ordering! You might be surprised by how well customers respond to this option—it offers them unbeatable convenience. Whether they're in a hurry, trying to skip a long queue, or wanting to add something extra while seated, online ordering makes it easy and accessible. People are ready for this, and we’ve created a seamless experience they’re even sharing on Instagram reels!
How will this effect my work-flow?
Bustle Online Ordering integrates effortlessly into your existing workflow. Online orders are processed through your Bustle system just like any in-person order, appearing on your Paperless app or as a printed docket—just as they would if entered via the Till App. For orders with a pickup time, the specified time is clearly displayed on the docket, so your team knows exactly when to prepare each item.
Can I put this menu on my website & Instagram?
Absolutely! You can link to this menu from your website, social media, Google, or anywhere else you want customers to view your menu and place an order.
But what happens if we get too busy?
With just a click, you can easily turn off online ordering whenever needed. Many businesses have seen a surge in orders when going live, which is fantastic—but it can become overwhelming. If that's the case, simply disable it with a click or add a pop-up message to inform customers about wait times. Some venues choose to enable online ordering only during slower periods to boost revenue and then turn it off during peak times.
